The property consist of several garden terraces, historic buildings including the kitchen and tenant quarters, as well as the ruins of the main house. An archaeological team from Syracuse University is examining the material culture left by the family, tenants, servants and enslaved Africans to provide a better understanding of life in a bustling, historic Caribbean port town.
